A pragmatic, talented and influential leader, Matt has more than 15 years of construction industry experience. Matt oversees the entire Civilex business in Victoria and NSW and will play a vital role in the further expansion as we expand operations across Australia.

With over 18 years’ broad construction experience, Jen leads the Civilex HSEQ team, focusing on continuous improvement of our systems and standards, incident investigations, internal training and return to work while maintaining our certifications.

Matthew Bell

Civilex Procurement Manager

Qualified in business, training and safety, coupled with a street-smart mindset in negotiation and communication, Matt is an expert in sourcing and managing essential supplies across our diverse projects. He confidently builds and sustains long-lasting relationships with stakeholders and manages subcontractor agreements.

We’re lucky enough to work on some of the most transformative projects in Australia. But the nature of construction means potential hazards are never far away. Every year, the industry sees a wide range of workplace incidents, severe injuries and even fatalities, all of which could have been prevented.

As part of our commitment to safety, we’ve embarked on a collaborative journey with a diverse cross-section of our people to review our processes, benchmark them against industry-leading practices and help embed a consistent safety approach in the culture of our business.

The result is Safety 7 – a set of expected behaviours and risk management practices, mapped across seven core areas of our business.
