Welcome 2019 Ignite Graduates

Last week we officially welcomed the 2019 Ignite Graduates to the Civilex family with induction and overview of the 2019 managers and structured units within the Ignite Graduate Program workbook followed by a breakfast at head office.

A warm welcome to our 2019 graduates (from left to right top row) Billy Dando, Alex Schmidt, Eamonn McCuskey, Nabil Albarki, Yoshan Nanayakkara, (from left to right seated row) Dane Gallagher, Jace Browne, Kyle Allen, and Alex Marshall. Absent: Cameron Warren and Andre Raffo.

Civilex Construction Managers Jen Robertson, Rodric Carabott and Ben Delahunty are enthusiastic about the year ahead and seeing the graduates work through the Ignite Graduate Program units using real-life project experience to develop both professionally and personally.

Rod says, “It’s the first graduate program I’ve been involved with from inception which is exciting. More importantly, the Ignite Graduate Program is an in-depth program with a range of tools and skills geared to producing well-rounded engineers. It will be a real benefit for the 2019 grads. I wish I had had a great program like this when I started out on my engineering journey.”

The extensive training component teaches graduates key aspects of the industry. Civilex Training and Compliance Coordinator Cara Thompson says, “Our Ignite Graduate Program’s diverse training empowers the leaders of tomorrow to influence and impact change within the industry. We are proud to offer such a comprehensive training program to our graduates ensuring they have all they need to explore the many possibilities a career in civil engineering can offer.”
