Grand Opening Party event
“Oh What a Night!”
Civilex Victoria hosted its head office Grand Opening Party on Thursday 12 April with special guest Mayor Altair in attendance, along with numerous industry guests, staff and company representatives – all of whom have played a part in the exponential growth of Civilex. The event was an opportunity for guests to tour the new office space, network with diverse industry representatives, and of course enjoy the delicious grazing platters and refreshments.
We were honoured to have Hobsons Bay City Council Mayor Cr Angela Altair officially open our new head office in Spotswood, cutting the ribbon with Managing Director Joe Bartolo and Directors Ray Dando and Andrew Fairbairn.
Mayor Altair delivered an exceptionally engaging and entertaining speech, mentioning that after a personal tour with Managing Director Joe Bartolo she was so impressed with our new office space, she asked if there was a job vacancy!
Key features of Civilex’s new head office in Hall Street Spotswood include natural light-filled offices; collaborative areas to work both inside and out; a large welcoming kitchen and communal dining area designed to bring employees together; and a spacious foyer with a mesmerising floor to ceiling garden wall. Yes, they are real plants! The new space also accommodates social areas for staff to change up their day with a game of table tennis or pool. And our company values wall is a visual reminder that everything we do here at Civilex Victoria aligns with our core values: Safety, Respect, Wellbeing, Relationships, Culture, and Innovation.
It is likely the new office and its purpose designed spaces will continue to make a positive impression on visitors and guests due to its unique and carefully considered work environment. And our staff are in unison, delighted to be part of a company who put into practice and live by its company values.
A special thank you to all our guests for attending our Grand Opening Party and making the night a successful and memorable one for Civilex Victoria.
